Do you always get what you want? Probably not. More on that in a moment.

More good news and more no bad news.

Last time I had good news I announced that I would be putting three videos out a week on my Youtube channel instead of just one.

Now the good news is I will be going live every Sunday afternoon in the NLP Gym private Facebook group.

Until just recently my private Facebook groups were for people who had purchased one of my online trainings so I can continue giving them ongoing support.

Now you don't have to purchase anything to get in on this group.

Even if you've never bought anything from me you are welcome to join. Just click here and remember to look out for my live events every Sunday!

Know anyone who always gets what they want? I don't. If you do tell them to watch this video.

I know people who claim they always get what they want.

"Wait... but you said you were going to tell me how to always get what I want using NLP" you might be thinking.

Yes. No. Yes.

Always getting what you want may not be what you think.

First of all when people tell me they always get what they want the first thing I think is they must not be challenging themselves enough. The second thing I think is that he or she must live a very boring life.

Always getting what you want means you try very little and do very little.

You don't grow by always getting what you want. You grow by not getting what you want despite giving it your best effort.

Your best effort then gets a lot better and you get stronger.

This is actually how you physically get stronger. When you bring a muscle to failure as quickly as possible and then give it plenty of rest, it gets stronger.

Your brain works the same way (hence NLP Gym, a gym for your mind).

The other thing I notice about people who claim they always get what they want is they don't seem happy, they seem tense, and more interested in portraying a life of perfection and no problems rather than living a life of meaning and fulfillment.

Let's be honest, material objects and even accomplishments will never give you lasting happiness. Don't believe me?

What accomplishment or what material object you've acquired years ago that is still making you happy?

I have nothing against these things. I like money and comfort. I love to challenge myself and accomplish big things.

But the secret sauce of life is not in the accomplishments, the successes, and the material objects.

What we really want is fulfillment, satisfaction, and happiness and that only comes when you know what your values are, you're aligned with them, and you engage them by acting in alignment with them.

In this sense you can always have what you want because happiness and fulfillment is always available to you. It's contained within you.

How do you access it? You first have to know what you're looking for and it's really simple. What you value is what you're looking for.

Values Elicitation again?

Yes! I'll stop talking about values elicitation when everyone in the world is happy and fulfilled and living meaningful lives.

Until then, I'm going to keep showing you all the possible ways you can use NLP to reach ultimate success, which is a happy, fulfilled, meaningful, and purposeful life.

Money, success, and accomplishments will come along as well but you need to understand what it really means to you and realistically what it will actually do for you.

I never get tired of working on this in myself and I never get tired of talking about it and helping others do the same.

On my Youtube channel you will find plenty of videos on eliciting values. Sometimes people email me after they watch these videos to let me know that for the first time in their life they know what they want and truly value and they know how to make it happen.

While you're there check out this video as well. Lot's of people get this backward. Make sure that's not you. Know what to focus on to master NLP!
