How can NLP help you?

The ways are many and the journey is different for everyone, but I will nutshell it for you.
First, some personal background on me so you can understand where I've come from with the help of NLP.
From a very early age I've been into personal development and physical development. I believed in the power of positive thinking and setting goals.
Unfortunately life kept serving me something different than what I wanted and expected and I had a tendency to slip into depression.
What I experienced was a condition of not having my mental and emotional house in order. It wasn't because I didn't want to get it in order. I just didn't know how. Most people don't. This is what makes NLP so powerful.
NLP is the understanding and the tools for understanding how you think and feel so you can change it when it doesn't serve you and put it in an order that does serve you.
I had practices like goal setting, visualizations, affirmations, meditations, etc. I even turned to Non-duality, which is an amazing understanding and an amazing mindset (and actually helped me learn NLP rapidly), but none of these practices gave me practical tools that I could apply and measure results.
I needed something that could solve the very real problems I was facing in my life instead of hoping the universe would pick up my frequency and unleash on me the abundance I desired.
That's when I found NLP and discovered the Well-Formed Outcome, Values Elicitation, Mapping Across, and Modeling.
These are jus a few NLP tools. There are many more. Each one of them is powerful enough to transform your life if you take the time to learn them and apply them.
I don't have time to describe in depth each one here. I've done videos and have written blogs on most of them so you can search my Youtube channel or the blog section on my website.
Here's a summary of how each one can help you:
The Well-Formed Outcome will help you get clear about what you want. If you don't know what you want, you're likely not to get it. This goes beyond goal setting. When you do this exercise correctly, it's half the battle.
Don't be surprised if you find that you don't actually want what you think you want. This will save you years of chasing someone else's dream and it will save you disappointment when you finally get it and it doesn't fulfill you.
Values Elicitation will give you more clarity about what you want and will enable you to access what you value within yourself without having to chase it externally. Whenever you do this you will naturally attract what you want instead of coming from a place of scarcity.
Mapping Across will teach you how to take areas where you are already successful, model it, and bring that success to the areas where you are unsuccessful or where you want more success.
Believe me you are already successful in many ways. Stop comparing yourself to others and make sure you count the small successes in your life. The small success are more powerful than the few big ones.
Modeling is for when you can't find a comparable skill within yourself to map across to another area of your life. When that success is not available within you that's when you find a model of that success. Don't model the person, only model how they create their success in a particular context.
Modeling is a naturally occurring phenomenon that we've been doing since we were children. Unfortunately, if we're not conscious and careful we can model someone's bad behavior while trying to model their success. It's the reason why you find yourself repeating your parents' mistakes when you know you can do better.
I see this in NLPers and non-NLPers. An example of this is picking up the way someone talks or their mannerisms when they're angry. If you're an actor and you're playing a real life person then you're the exception. Otherwise, be careful what you model from others. Narrow it to the specific context you want to be successful and leave everything else out. NLP will show you how to do that.
NLP can help you and it can help everyone because it wakes you up to the conscious and unconscious processes that create all of your successes and all of your failures. Understanding this is enormous because it gives you control over you. You run the program instead of the program running you.
The next step is to draw on and access your own inner resources to create what you want.
Last but not least, whatever resource, skill, or strategy you don't already have, you can find someone who does and model it.
Take the NLP journey and take back your life.
